Long Live 204!!
Well, school is offically out and you all are freeeee!! I miss you already, but I know you are having a great time sleeping in, hangin' wit' yo peeps ( I love my slang dictionary!) and NOT having to do your blog each week! But, in the interest of keeping our positive 204 vibe alive, I've decided to keep the class of 2009's voice loud and proud here on blogger! So, you can continue to to comment and let me know how you're doing and how your summer is going and whatever else you feel like talking about. Does anyone have summer jobs? If so, do you like it? What was your favorite summer job EVER? How many of you never had a job? Tell me all about it! No grades at stake here, but I would love to hear from all of you!!

Hey mrs. Bunje! am I the only one that remembered ur blog?? extra credit next year because you're gonna be my teacher again. I don't know what to say really. I hope your summer is going good so far. I'm having fun. As for a job, I work weekends at the clamhouse still. Just letting you know that I'm still thinking of you. You probably won't even look at this blog because you think everyone forgot :( I didnt! :)
Hey LMan!! I did not forget! I will be reminding people as I see them, don't worry! And of course I did not forget you, silly! It has only been 2 days and I miss you all like crazy! Today I was in school, finishing up everything, and the bell rang at 9:13 and all I could think was, "it is almost time for 3rd period!" :(
I don't know what the clamhouse is--is it a restaurant? If so, tell me where it is so I can go there!
Ms. Bunje i just wanna tell you that i'm sorry i didn't talk a lot in class this year but i really am a talker. i'm really sorry for pinky promising you and not doing an op paper=/. i got bored this morning and thought about when we had to do blogs and i wanted to just look at it to see if you wrote anything. im just sitting here eating a bagel and maybe going to the beach soon. im away in long island new york all summer with my friends and family who live here. its pretty awesome. did u ever go away in the summer time as a kid? i've never had a job and i don't plan to get one until like the Starbucks opens in Hammonton. im going to miss having you as my teacher even though i never got close to you like pretty much every student you had, has done. hows not having to get up early and teach us all day long?

heyy ms. bunje!:) its been a week and one day since we have been out of school. tears ='[ i miss school. probably because summer is not all that fun right now since some people are still in school. summer hasn't really even began. i know that this summer will be good though, if not great. I do not have a summer job, nor have i ever had a job before. maybe i will get one though. i just don't want to get one until fall, when summer is over, because i don't want it to hold me back. so did you move yet? if so, how is it going? how is your summer so far? do you have a summer job? well i cant think of anything else to say right now, but im sure i will be back here realll soon. i love you!<3 have a great summer. see you next year :]
hey bunje i actually miss doing these blogs and having to do one every week. My summer has been going good so far getting to sleep in late is my favorite. im going to wildwood tomorrow and staying there for a few days. i had a summer job last year at lenape park which was the only job that hired at a young age but they closed down so now i cant find a job that hires at 15 but in september im getting a job for the weekends and after school. anways i just wanted to thank you again for how much i learned from you, now that im not in school anymore and have more free time i really relieze how much you did for us. i met this girl she was crying she thinks she isnt good enough and she dosnt like herself because of her apperence and thanks to you i was able to give her advice. i told her that everyone is different and it isnt a bad thing and that its okay to be yourself and people will accept you for who you are. i was talking to her for a while and still talk to her whenever she needs to. well how are you doing? hope everything is well and cant wait to see you again next year love you - MEL
So it's like 3:30 in the morning in less than two hours I'm going to be on the road going on vacation down in Georgia I figured I'll sleep deprive myself so I can sleep on the ride down there. Great plan don't you think? I've been going to five below a lot lately considering I've been having some crazy long hours at the movies and I expect one day I will walk in and there you will be. Maybe ey? Regardless of my endless hours at the movies I am enjoying it, almost everyone that works that has become like a second family, including that drunken uncle that's always saying something funny/weird. John is doing well too, lately because of my work we haven't been able to chillax with each other but he just left for a week vacation with his girlfriend and dad up in New York. At this point summer is just a long wait for my birthday so I can finally get my car. This is the first summer I want to end fast but go slow at the same time. I really want my car but I really wanna be able to relax the rest of this summer because the next two years of high school are going to be difficult for me. I gotta pull those grades up so I can make it into a college you know. Well hopefully your summer is going good too. Hey maybe you have a favourite summer job you can tell us about ey?
Well, this year my parents told me i didnt need a job because i worked two during the school year. Off and on baby-sitting and Fred and Ethles pays really good on holidays(the only time i work for them). So by the end of school, i've got more then enought money to get me a car. But next summer-because i'll probably spend my money on people- I'll probably work full time at my favorite place to work ever, Custard Castle. Working at an icecream stand is so much fun. But if i dont work there, Fred and Ethles works really well for me. 13 dollars an hour, I'm there ^.^
Hmmmm, my favorite summer job was probably when I was 17 and I worked at this little boutique in Lacey (where I lived at the time) and Tracey worked at the flower shop that was in the same plaza. We had the same hours--4pm-9pm--so every day we would wake up, go to the beach, come home and take showers, go to work and then meet up at 9:15 to go out. That was probably the best summer job EVER.
So, in response to some of you: Amanda-- first of all--you didn't have to talk much to let me know you were there, honey. I know you knew what was going on, even when you didn't talk. AS far as your OP....hmmmm :( I just wish I would've gotten to hear it, but that's ok too--keep blogging and I'll be happy! In answer to your question, I never went away for summers but I always wished I did! And, finally--although I like sleeping in--I HATE not teaching you guys--absolutely HATE it!
Mel--I am so glad that you are someone's shoulder to lean on--I appreciate you saying that you could do that because of me, but in all honesty honey, I have nothing to do with it. You've always had that ability, you just didn't recognize it in yourself. I am really glad you do now, though. I miss you a lot!~
Trina-- I haven't moved yet, but Friday is the big (June 29) day. I am a little nervous, but excited too. It will be a brand new start, so that is scary/exciting. My only summer job is tutoring, I do that all summer, but it is not a daily thing and it's fun, but way different than teaching. I miss you too and I hope you come and see me A LOT next year.
Britt--I LOVE Fred & Ethels!!! They make this tomato soup that is the best I have ever tasted! Let me know when you are working there so I can come and see you! A custard stand?? Where???
Joe B--one of these days I am going to surprise you and pop in to the movies! I am dying to see 1408 but--GUESS WHAT??? That is my new address!!!! 1408 is my new apartment number--creepy huh?? I just realized that the other day when I was changing my mailing address--hopefully once I move in, I will not descend into madness!! I hope Georgia was (is) fun--I like it there, lots to do.
I am so glad you guys are keeping up with our blog--whenever I am feeling sad and blue, I log on to read all your past posts and now there are new ones too! You make me so happy!! Miss you all heaps and bunches!!!!

Yo bunje it mykul yea things are goin good and i know have a job where i do construction work for my dads busniss. today it was like 104 degrees and i wanted to kill my dad when around 1:00 when he pulled up at my job site and told me he just got back from the ocean city beach watching my lil bros surf with my mom then he was going on an estiment. Oh and he was complaning how frezzing his truck was while i was three scaffolding high doing stucco with 4 mexican work hoarses workin me like a dog. lol. so howes your summer going answer back or email me. oh and i dont know if remember that one of my quads got stolen... well i found it. it was in the woods the people who stoe it didnt mix the gas with oil and they broke down! what idots. lol. well c-ya and sorry for my spelling. ( Wow this was my longest blog yet. and it doesnt count)
the best part of this summer so far is sleeping in and staying up later than mormal. it sucks to stay home alone at times but i sleep half the day then go swimming at a friends pool. i don't have a job yet and it's sad cause i handed in 10 applacations so hopfully. so wow i'm a junior and i'm tired good night

My summer is going ok--I moved out of my house last week so I am settling into my new place which is in another town I know nothing about lol.
I am glad to hear you're working hard--that's kinda funny/beat that your dad played you like that--he sounds like a pretty cool guy, though. I hope you aren't working too much and are having a chance to relax and enjoy your time off from school.
I'm not sure what your email address is anymore--I know you said you had a couple of them, so email me something at home or school so I have the address.
Hope your new house is nice--are you living in it yet?

OMG MOM! I shoulda known that you would do somethin like this...but I'm really glad you did. you ARE different that any other teacher...most teachers are happy to not have to see or hear from they're students anymore. but there are a couple things to update you on.
- I have a job. I think I told you already but I am definitely employed now. Chik-Fil-A at the Hamilton Mall. so MapQuest that shizz and come see me sometime!
- I have a boyfriend. YEAH YEAH I already kno what your thinking. its not J.M. because he's long gone. he left to college and I don't even care if people read this and they kno who I'm talkin about. the guy I'm with now we've been together since the 24th and mom, he is so special. no ex girlfriends to deal with, he's not a trouble maker, he has a job, he's bout to start classes in the fall (yes he's old. he's 19 and PLEASE don't yell at me) and he loves to give me attention; GOOD! I love it...and need it. me and him had been mad cool with each other since my freshman year so I've known him for a while. so by the time that we started really talking to each other we already knew much about each other. I like him alot and I really REALLY think that its gonna be a while before I'm single again. trust me this time mom, I know what I'm doing now all thanks to your help throughout the year <3
- me and quiona are still madd close. she's still my sister/best friend/partner in crime; whatever you call it but I'm sure you already knew that too.

BUNJE! ahh so its been 3 weeks and some change since ive seen you. its crazy! i miss you and our whole class. i talk to chris basically every day and jeff all the time too. i keep in touch with kurstan and a few others which is good. i still miss 204 like crazy! eh summer isnt going quite as planned. ive been to a few parties, but its still pretty boring. hopefully this month will be better. im planning on going to ocean city with chris tomorrow to see the fire works. haha. so yeah. well i have no summer job....YET! im planning on it. but ive been pretty lazy. not even gonna lie. but im gonna get to it soon. I am so happy to hear that #1 you are making smart choices about who you are and what you deserve, and #2 that your new man sounds to be exactly what you have been looking for. 19 eh? hmmmm. I will have to give that some consideration and also have to actually meet him before I render my "final judgment" lol. I mean, if he's all that, he can stand up to the scrutiny of your other Mama! Right?!! :)
Chik-fil-A huh? OK--give me a schedule of when you'll be there and I will pop on by for--I dunno actually, what do they have? Chicken I guess? duh, of course. Well, chicken it is!!
The new place is...new. Again, I moved to a place that seems off the map, I got lost just going to the grocery store the other day, but that's nothin' new! I suppose it will take some time to get used to it and everything else that's different... I do live "mad" (meaning, of course, VERY) close to Philly so I have been spending a lot of time there, and that's been fun. They have lots of dog parks and nerdy stuff to do like art museum tours and old bookstores to check out and you know what a nerd I am so... :)
I am down in that area a lot of the time because I tutor Oakcrest kids at Borders, so hopefully I will see you soon. Say hi to Qui for me!

Hmmmm--sounds like you have been spending lots of time with Chris....something you wanna tell me??? Have fun at the fireworks tonight--be really careful because 4th of July is a drunk's dream holiday--seriously, watch out for yourself on the road and at the boardwalk.
Let me know when you get a job so I can come visit! Don't worry about not having one just yet--you have your entire life to work--enjoy your summer as a kid for a while.
The picnic idea sounds awesome. Ket's def talk about that some more and see if we can come up with a plan!

I went 2 PA for the first 2 weeks, so that was the beginning of summer 4 me. Then i came back & went 2 wildwood last week. thats pretty much been it.
Iv been filling out job applications like left & right. Im hoping to get one soon. We'll see.
But now, its my top priority cuz my mom is convinced Ill never b able 2 get a job this summer, so now I have 2 get one 2 prove how wrong she is...
I applied at american eagle, aeropostale,FYE, & suncoast in the mall. & Iv got a few more im workin on 2.

Bunje, whats up how has your summer been. I miss coming into your class every day. I haven't had a real summer because of football everyday. I guess my hard work has been paying off, I'm starting to get some letters from different schools like northern Michigan university, sacred heart, and the college of new jerseys. So i guess it hasn't been all that bad. U have to come to some of our games to cheer me and Lawrence on. I hope everything is going well with your move. So i think, this time I'm going to change it up a bit. SO I'm going to make like toilet paper and roll.

Summer is going well--kinda quiet, but that's not a bad thing.
I am teaching 3 sections of AP juniors and 2 sections of seniors, but no matter what, you can always come on in to 204 whenever you need or want to.
Let's see--some good books that I've read so far: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold, The Dogs of Babel by Carolyn Parkhurst and My Sister's Keeper (reallllly good). All those could qualify as good beach reads, especially My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult. I think you would really like that one.
I miss you too and can't wait to see you!!

I really have been thinking alot lately and i just wanted to tell you alot of things. ive realized how much of an impact your class and your teaching styles had on me. this year starting at hammonton has been alright but my english teacher gave us a writing assignment today already. she has like the whole year planned we have a book report due in october already. it just seems like your the only teacher that has made such a great effort to get to know us and actually likes us for who we are. most of the teachers ive had just made us fill out an information sheet to get to know us. it just makes me feel bad because i didnt do the best i could have in your class for you and you deserved better. me starting at hammonton just shows me how great of a teacher you really are. i wish that i could have you as my teacher this year =(
i hope you had a great rest of the summer and things are going great in your new house =)

Thanks pumpkin, that is really sweet of you to say. You are missed here, believe me. Some teachers just don't know how great their kids are right away--hopefully, yours will get to see how special you are and won't waste opportunities to get to know you.
Don't feel bad about how well you did--just know that I always knew who you were and what you were capable of and I never took it personally. And, incidentally, it was always a pleasure to have you in class.
