We have seen so far in The Crucible the lengths someone will go to for love. Abigail drank a charm, pointed fingers and made a fool of herself all in the name of love. Elizabeth lied in court to do what she thought was the right thing by her husband--also in the name of love. What would YOU do? Are there limits or boundaries to the actions you would take for love? What is love worth to you? Is love a powerful force, a cure for everything, the only thing you need or any of the other things all the songs on the radio say it is? Is it good, bad, a sign of weakness, a sign of strength, none of those things? Tell me about it. (150-200 words/35 pts)

To me, love is a very powerful word. I think that if you love someone or something than you should be willing to go anywhere or do anything to keep it alive, as Abigail and Elizabeth did. I would go very far for love if i was SURE that it was true...but I don't beleive in chasing after something that isn't meant to be. Basically, i think that if you are in love than you in fact will feel that it is the cure for everything and there are not boundaries set for you. However if you think that you are in love and truely you are not, than you will not feel as passionately about it. I take love very seriously, and to me it is a sign of strength. ok...Love can totally change a person; it can make you wanna do things you wouldn't normally even consider. There are limits and boundaries when it comes to love, but it also really depends on the person's personality; someone might risk everything for love, while someone else might just think it's stupid. I myself feel that when you love someone, I mean really love them, that you would be willing to do practically anything for your partner. Love IS a powerful source, but it's just not what everyone else says it is, it's how YOU feel. No, love isn't a cure for everything, you could be depressed, love someone, but still be depressed, although you want it to be fixed, it isn't, its up to you to fix that, you can't rely on a relationship to make you feel better. Well, it depends on the song; some are written with real emotion and care and really do represent love/relationships; the good times and the bad ones, the ups and the downs; being in love isn't always totally wonderful, etc., there are times when its almost unbearable, but when you can move past those, & rekindle it all, then it's probably real. Love is good, bad, a sign of weakness, & a sign of strength. Why? Because, it requires all emotions, not just one, it can't be just broken down like that & have everything else just thrown away. It's not just good, bad, etc. ; It's everyhting & it comes directly from inside, its powerful & can be life-altering.
Love means a lot to me. You cannot put a tag on the things that you will do and not do for love. You basically do what you think is right which is also criticized by your loved one. There are almost no limits to the things that I would do for love. It only depends on the opinion on some people that are important to you, especially your loved one. Love is actually worth a lot to me. Love is something that you need in a relationship because if you don't have that, then what can you do in that relationship? You wouldn't be feeling anything in the relationship with that other person. Love is very powerful. Love can make you do things that you have never done before. It can push you and give you the influence you need to succeed. Love cannot always cure everything. But it helps in curing mental things that you cannot handle on your own. In my opinion, the many songs that you hear on the radio and anywhere else, is accurate. I believe this because many of the people that write the songs and movies have experienced something like that themself. I think that Love is a sign of passion. It shows that you have emotions. It shows how you can interact with other people and how they can have the mutual feeling that you have for them.
well first of all, i would never make myself look like an idiot in a court room lying to protect someone, even if they were my husband. i mean if they got their self into the mess, they can surely get themself out of it. i do think that there are limits to the actions someone may take for love. but i would do anything for it. love can be very stubborn but very nice at the same time. love isn't really important to me right now because i'm still only 15 but when the time comes it will be. love is very powerful, i totally agree but i do not agree on it being a cure for everything. somehings it can cure mentally but not everything. the songs that come on the radio are some-what true, but i'd rather not believe that because i think that the artists are just trying to have people feel sory for them. for me love is not a sign of weakness all the time but at sometimes it is a sign of strength. love just takes time. it's a hard thing to conspire. you just have to give it time.

True love is very trust worthy that you have to believe in your relations ship if you are in true love with your boyfriend.
Well for me love to me is amazing. I think its one of those things that for some people you could live without. But it helps you and comforts you and in my opinion enhances your life and happiness.I dont think love can cure things it not magic its magical but it cant just fix things. Love can help alot tho when your down you have that special person to inspire you.
To me love is good, and if you can truly love someone and keep a relationship together than i believe that is a strength. if you cant do that and you cant be faithfull to your significant other than that is deffinately a weakness. There are defiantely things i would do for love but never to the extent of hurting other people, or drastically lying. Some things are just better left unsaid and if you find love then thast great but if you dont then you just have to keep looking . The more time you get your heartbroken the stronger you are.. I would not start to point fingers and blame other people to get them killed and in jail just so i can be with somebody. That is just stupid to kill somebody to get to the one you think you love. Yes, there are alot of limits i would take. Love is worth alot to me, since i love my parents and friends and many other things and without them i wouldnt be myself i might not even be here for all i know. Yes love is a very powerful force it might be the most powerful feelings. Because some people go so far just to find love. Love is almost a cure for everything but sometimes it is not, i wouldnt say love is the only thing you need, but the most important thing you need. I dont think love is like what songs say. to me love is a feeling so real and so true that if its serious between two people anythings possible. i would do anything for love. thought here are limits to what i would do. i would never harm another person or steal or do a drug for the person i love. and im my mind if they love you i mean truly love you they wouldn't ask you to do something that just isn't you. to me love is worth everything i mean now a days you find less and less people who are truly in love. most people get married for stability or because of a pregnancy. its so rare to see people get married who truly love one another since its so hard to find i wont get married until i know i am head over heels in love. yes i do think that love is a cure and the only thing you need in your life. i believe that love is what keeps a person going. you could have nothing material wise but if you in love u have everything you need. i believe that love is a great thing because just by looking at a couple in love you can see how happy they are. but i dont think that love is a sign of weakness nor strength its a powerful feeling that is indescribable unless you've been there. so to me love is one of many treasures life brings.
I agree that love is probably the strongest emotion out there and could definately make and break a person, however it isnt necassary in life and there fore must not be as important as people make it out to be. Alot of people "love" someone for wrong reasons such as attention, and comfort, but many people live there lives without ever falling in love with another person. I do think love is a very important thing and can make people do some stupid things, but thats what love does to you, it makes you crazy and stupid over someone, which can be good and bad. If you really are in love than most of the times the stupis things you do can be for all the right reasons, like what elizabeth did. You do have to be brave to be in love becuase some of the things you do for people, will most likely have consequences. So really love is what you make it to be, you can make decisions based upon love, but there your decisions, good bad, what ever they may be, you still choose to make them, so what happens in your love life is based upon how you and your partner act towards each other. But again if you really are truly in love,and would sacrifice anything for that one person, than things should work out for the best.
Love, such a very complicated word that can't be expressed to its full extent in anytime or place. For me there are different versions of love; caring-love for family and friends and then there is true-love between your spouse. I say spouse only because i can't find a better word for it, girlfriend would just mean true-love is only confined in a girlfriend, same thing for saying wife and beloved one could mean a very close person to you but not a wife/girlfriend. Love in a caring nature is good and sometimes a sign of strength. Love for your spouse is the same as caring-love but also can be a cure at times and the most trusting and intimate feeling you can have for someone that in a way could make you do things you wouldn't do otherwise. That is not to say you couldn't do it before but rather you wouldn't or didn't want to. Both of these forms of love can be shown as a sign of weakness, for that love could stop you from making the right and best decision in a situation because you are being selfish of your feelings for that person which could cloud your judgement. Thus for me love does have a limit and boundaries, I may love someone with my utmost of my being or care very deeply for them to call it love ,but when i have to make the best and right choice that could end my relationship or make that person resent me, of course i would do it. For example if someone is robbing a store and has my wife hostage along with 10 other people, even though i wouldn't want to i would put the lives of the other people before my wife and try to save them all and stop the robber. By doing so she could be killed but it's not righteous to put one life no matter how much it means to you before that of many, and i would hope she would understand why i had to do so. If my wife couldn't understand or wouldn't try to understand why i would do something like that then i guess we weren't meant to be since a non-selfish person with understanding would be able to comprehend it and still love me. Even though saying this that doesnt mean i wouldn't try to save my wife first just by killing or subduing the robber which in turn does save everyone and her which would be for the best.
Love....well...how easly can i put this...Love Sucks. I wouldnt really do anything for the man i love. Dont get me wrong, i would put my life on the line for people I care about, but love makes everything worse.Love can cure alot of things, mostly a broken heart, but it still hurts you in the long run. Well, to tell you the truth you hurt someone in the long run know matter what, but there's probably no way to advoid that. It can be a sign of weakness, or strenght, pending on how you use it. In story terms, love could be used to make a charactor seem weak, but yet the charactor becomes stronger mental/emotionaly/and maybe even physicaly. Its not so much being in love that hurts, its falling in and our of love, or mostly out. After getting your heart broken so many times, you become some what stronger, yet you probably become alittle cold towards people. That could hurt you in the long run too because everyone needs someone to trust.

I think Abigail said she loved John because John is older and she is young, and ignorant. She didnt know what she was doing because what John and Elizabeth had was true love and she messed it all up. I dont know if i would do all the things that Abby did because i dont think she did it for real love. If it was for someone that i really do love than I think i might.
when i think of love i think of heart brake, i havent seen to many relationships work out and i dont know if i beleave in "true love" or any of that kind of stuff unless someone shows me otherwise. i think that people say i love you way to much and most of the time when there saying it they dont mean it. i dont really know one relationship that is like how they show it in tv shows nd stuff .. nd if u really love someone u wouldnt really make mistakes cause u wouldnt want to hurt the person ur in love with nd u wouldnt want to disapoint them ur gonna try ur best to make them happy.its nothing real, its nothing real, its just a four letter word, that people just use any way they want. and in many reltionships they say there "in love" with the person when really they only have love for the person. I personally think that love grows when you and that person grow up together and when you find that your in love you never want to let it go. Love is soemthign hard to find but when you find it you feel as if your life is complete..people arnt in love, they just are in love with the thought of being in it. like its part of the mind when they say it, not in the heart. and people now a days worry too much about finding true love.
If I were Abby or Elizabeth, I would not change a thing that I have done. I am a sucker when it comes to being in love and I would know because I am. When it comes to love nothing is too much. I would have done everything in my power for that one special love. To me there are no limits or boundaries to the actions I would take for love. Love to me is everything I need. I can be afforded all the money in the world or the prettiest diamonds, or the most expensive toys but I would have rather took my one true love. Love to me is a powerful force and my cure for everything. It truly is. I really can’t imagine me being so strong if it was not for love. To me I don't know if there would be limits or boundries for love because how do you know what it is or if you found it or not? To me love it worth alot more then a diamond ring, because a diamond the shine fades away over time and can be replaced very easily and there will always be somthing better that a girl would want to have. I'm not quite sure if it can cure everything I think it could if you really wanted it to try. But to me you cannot but a price on love because to me life shouldn't be about price tags. I think that love is a sign of strength between people because in order to have love two people need to learn trust and commitment and learn how to get through the hard times. So to me its not all the designer bags , and nice cars, or jewlery from Tiffany's, its about commintment and truth and honesty and about sticking with that person no matter what. If i was in abagail's shoes i would of relized that proctor was not in love with me. why should i fight for some one else's love if at the end no matter if proctor's wife dies proctor would still not want me. so she is fighting for unreturnable love. I think love is a sign of weakness. I realize this because if someone that you loved did something to hurt you, you would be crushed. However, if another person did the same thing to you, you couldn't care less about it.For someone that I love, I would anything just to see the smile on their face. Aj, for example is my boyfriend. We have grown to love eachother so much it's crazy. The things that I do for Aj is crazy.For Christmas, I bought him some $135 dollar Jordan, because I love him. I slept over his house in Delaware with is family on Christmas. I was miles and miles away from my family on Christmas Day. All I could do was call my family on the phone as opposed to being with them as usual. That also shows love. I love being with my family but when Aj asked if I wanted to spend Christmas with him and his family I couldn't say no. That show's love. Like in the story, it is very evident to see that people do things for love. I would probably do the same things because love is something very special where you'd feel as though you would do anything for that special person. Love is amazing because I have never felt this emotion except with Aj. Love is actually a powerful force and to me, it seems like it cures anything. I'm in love with the feeling of love. ok here's the deal. there is not one single definition for love. the fact is, love is a complicated concept. I dont understand it, and not too many people do. but there are definitely different "types" of love and what you would do for that love. for example, I love cheese. doesnt mean I would hop in front of a speeding train to save a package of dairy. I love my mom more than anything. I would definitely jump in front of a speeding train. another example, I like my hair straight, but that doesnt mean I would kill somebody for my flat iron. I love Ms. Bunje and I would do just about anything for her. Love isnt worth diamonds, fancy cars, and big expensive houses, but love is worth something. It's such a powerful force because it can actually make people do things that they normally dont do on a daily basis. But it definitely isnt the only thing you need. you can be "in love" and not happy at all. Love is good, bad, a sign of weakness AND a sign of strength. ::Good:: when you love and are loved, it makes you happy...atleast it makes ME happy. ::Bad:: you can love being serial killer...and thats not too good. ::Sign of Weakness:: you may love an abusive guy or girl. that shows that your weak for staying in that kind of relationship. ::Sign of Strength:: when you learn to love someone and learn to let people love you, it shows a kind of strength that no one can really take from you unless you let them.
I would do pritty much anything for love. I think that if you truely love someone you would be willing to do anything for them. There arent any real bountraies in love, its just about how much love you have for that person that defines how far you would go for them. In my case I would do anything for love. If my family was in danger and in order to save them I would have to kill someone or sacrifice myself i would do it. Love is worth a lot because it's something that makes everyone feel better and is something truely valuable. You have to take advantage of it because you never know when it will run out or go away. Love is something that to me cure almost everything. The only thing it can't cure is a disease or sickness. When I would fall down and cut my self when i was little i remember getting a kiss on the bruse and it would take the pain away faster then any medicine. Love is a sign of just being human. If you don't love then you arent human because you don't have feelings. Feelings come off of different emotions so if you never felt love then how could you feel anger or hate. If you can love then you are strong and the more you love the stronger you become because you love and you learn.
I think that there are many kinds of love such as the love for your family, your friends and a romantic love. About my family, my parents and my sister, the kind of love that I feel for them, is the one that I would do anything, I would give my life for them. For this kind of love there’s no limits or boundaries. A love for your friends or a romantic love always depends on the situation, it has limits for your actions, at least for me. About a romantic love, I would do many things for it, but not anything, like giving up my country or something like that. For me it also means giving up my family, which I have another kind of love, the one that I would do anything for. The many things that I would do for a romantic love I would only do if the person loves me the same way. I would never do something to make someone else loves me. Love is worth a lot to me. When you love someone it means that you worry and care about them and you just want the best for them. I think that love is a powerful force, because it comes from the heart, means a lot and makes someone special for you. Love is not a cure for everything or all you need. You need more than just love to live your life and be happy.
What songs say about love, is not exactly what it really is. Most of the time they exaggerate it. Love can be good. When you love your family and friends or when you are in love and you know that all of them also love you, it just makes you feel good. It can be bad, because it can always hurt you. It can be a sign of weakness, when you wont give up a love even knowing that you don’t have that love in return. It can also be a sign of strength when you would do something that will hurt you and maybe someone else, but that would be better for both.

Love...let's see. People do some crazy things for love. I will agree with alot of the other posts, that love is very powerful and can benefit people in all kinds of ways. I would do some crazy things over love. I would definately fight somebody, but most guys would anyway. I wouldn't however, go around talking like alot of other people do. I won't start gossip or stupid rumors over love. Love can heal, but not cure, it can it can enhance, but not perfect. Ok, now I sound like a gay poet trying to talk deep. Anyhow, the last thing I would do for love is kill or bring the law into play, as Abigail did. Unless someone actually killed or attempted to kill the girl/family I love, then no law or killing on my part has to take place. All in all, probably the worst thing I would do is fight someone. I'm not even a fighter, but if I have to fight I'll make sure it's one on one even if I lose the fight and the girl. In the words of the great Beatles, all you need is love. well, now that im readin the crucible but im not from that time.i think they are completely crazy because no man is worth all of that.maybe it was different back then or they were just insane.limits and boundaries for me would be if it were a boy i was dating and we loved eachother i wouldnt like kill for him or do anything that would get me locked up,but if it were something i knew i could do than its done.for say the love of a family or friend.family really has no limits or boundaries because you love and know that person so much why not go out of they way for them(friends are likewise).love is worth alot to me,like every word love has a meaning.you cant buy love,you cant grow it or pretend you have love,because you wouldnt know because you really cant see love.like when couples have been going out for like a month and say " i love you" i dont feel as though its really love,because if you were asked why or how you feel this way your answer will most likely not be legit.and to me its a type of bond or feeling you can have love for materlistic things, people etc.but love is not worth a broken heart.love is pretty powerful. most people are alot happier when they feel loved.and apparently "love over comes all" which is a load of b/s.like now that im becoming older im very selective when it comes to love,i just dont want to love just anyone and tell them i love them immeditely because i want to really feel like i cant be without them because if i get caught up too fast i could get hurt.love isnt a cure for everything if it were, many situations could have been by passed or resolved. in songs they make love either good or bad.the good love is like weak( by svw)or like a love song that talks about just how great the person is.but what i consider to be bad love is when an artist sings or raps about a bad breakup or how the person just changed and the love isnt the same.and the mood of the song is like depressing.but some people dont realize the mood of the songs and they dont listen to what the lyrics are really saying.and to those who can relate to the song they can somewhat feel what the artist is saying.but overall everyone is different when it comes to love.because everyone likes to be loved differently.Strong love would be a couple that does actually love eachother.(because alot of people fake it these days)and they help eachother grow and its unconditional for them,whatever comes there way they have eachothers back.or a strong love could be in like god or whatever you believe in.a weak love is when it really isnt considered love at all i cant really say, probably where they are taking advantage of one another and they are just holding on because they dont want anybody else.The weakest would be if one person cheated because its just grimey and the lowest thing you could do ,if you loved that person cheating wouldnt be a tinkle in your mind..for me i see there is a difference in love.you could have love for someone,be in love with someone, or love someone.

Well, to me love is a powerful word that is sometimes taken for granted. It can make you feel pain you never felt before or it can be the most beautiful thing you ever felt before. Loving someone, to me is giving all your energy to the person as well as they do the same for you. It’s giving up your self for the one you love the most. It’s doing the little things that make you feel so important. It’s knowing that there your lover and your best friend and will have your back no matter what. It’s the reason to live for the person or the reason to die for them. I would do what I have to do for my true love but I would never force someone to love me back if they don’t want to be with you. If it’s meant to be, it’ll find its way. Sometimes the songs on the radio are not what love really is. You have to truly feel every tear, every smile, every cry and ever laugh in order to truly understand what is in the name of love
love is a crazy topic i mean love means a whole lot to alot of different people.some people would kill some people would go to jail but i mean if your really in love with someone and they really love you neither one of you should have to give anything up for each other.think about it the money the jewels all that stuff really shouldn't mattter if you are really in love with somebody.i mean for me i wouldn't do anything for love. i wouldn't change nothing not my lifestyle the way i talk nothing. love should come natural people shouldn't have to change how they are and how they do things just because your girlfriend or boyfriend wants you to.don't change for anybody be you be yourself there's someone out there that loves you just the way you are so be yourself.
I dont know what i would really do because i never had to do what abigail did jsut for love. I dont think i would do anything like that just in the name of love. Love is something that should be truthful and faithful. You cant really make someone love you if they dont. Love doesnt really mean to much to me right now even though im about to 17 in a few days and im only really worried about school and stuff and thats about it. Love can be a good a think and a bad. Its a good thing if you get it from all the right people. That means like family and friends. It can make you a better and caring person sometimes. What I personally think about love is that you need it to live and I'm not talking about "falling in love" because sometimes that love can fall apart. I talking about the love that you give your family and you friends. You need that to live, without out love there would be so much angry, depression, hate and violence. This is the kind of love i would die for. I would risk my life to save my family, because i know that they would be there and help me and i would want them to know that that i would do the same. Personally I believe the word love is one of the most over used words out there. I agree with Brian when he said love means “Gonna find my baby, gonna hold her tight
gonna grab some afternoon delight.” Etc. Now a days people say whatever they need to, to get someone into bed. Now don’t get me wrong when some people say I love you they really mean it. I’m talking about the people who go out with each other for two days and are already saying it to each other. You can not honestly love someone if you have been going out for only two days, you barely know the person. However, in some cases it’s different. For people who have known each other for a long time and really got close than started going out can say I love you after two days of dating. As you can probably already tell love means a lot to me. I don’t go around saying all the time. So if I end up saying it to you it means it true. It also means I would do anything for you. If I had to die to save you, I would. I think love is a wonderful thing and I hope to find my true love one day, but I’m not in any rush to. But I know for sure of the day I find because I know I would be willing to do anything for that one boy.
Love is a good thing. I would not go to such extreme measures like have someone killed or make a fool out of myself. Love is a good meaning to me. personally, i would do the same thing as abigail and elizabeth did for love. to me lying is a hard thing for me to do but for my husband i would do it .. to prevent him from any harm, that i could. so i think what elizabeth did was out of love. i think that i would do what abigal did but i believe that she wasnt as in love with john as elizabeth was. i think that she is more attracted to him physically than anything else. I think that you shouldn't try to make someone love you. If they loved you back than it was meant to be, if not then it's just not meant to be. If I was in a court room I would lie to protect the one I love the most. Love is worth it because no one can take the love that you have for each other. Regarding Abby, I think what she did was totally pointless. Yes, she was in love with him, but she didn't have the sense to know that Proctor didn't love her back. If you think about it, ever since he kicked her out his house, he really hasn't come in contact with her. In the church when she would walk by, he would blush because he felt guilty about something and tried to put his head down. Abby just wasn't in love with him but she was obsessed with him. Abby wanted Proctor so bad for herself that she would be willing to drink a charm to kill John's wife. That is when love can become DANGEROUS. The problem with Abby was that she was diluted. Her mind was not in the right place. She couldn't come to terms and accept that John didn't love her the way she loved him. With Elizabeth, she did the right thing in court. I don't think anybody today in the world would not want to save their husband's life. He is the father of her children and of her unborn child. Yes, they did have some faults in their marriage, but everybody does. LOVE is a very significant part of my life. I used to think that my parents didn't love me and so I got into during bad things. It wasn't then till I realized that I was wrong; they did love me. People that are suicidal in the world today think that no one loves them. They will keep thinking that until someone proves them wrong. Sometimes it takes for you to hit rock bottom for you to realize that people do care about you,and love you;this is what happened in my case. Now sitting here and writing about this, I can think of the most 2 important loves out there: Parental love and a Spouse kind of love. Parental kind of love is when you're parents tell you that you can't go to such and such place cause I don't want to see you get hurt. Spouse and girlfriend/boyfriend love is diff. I have never been in love with a person but I think that I am falling into it. When you love someone, it is such a wonderful feeling. You feel like you're on top of the world like nothing else matters. For me, loving someone is caring for them while they are sick,talking to them when something is wrong, and just being there for them in general. From experience I have learned that love can make you do somethings that you wouldn't normally do for someone else. An example is if you and your guy going snowboarding. You end up going to the highest mountain and ride down. He ends up crashing into a pole that is hold up the skyline. He has broken ribs,a hip out of place, and splits one of his kidenys in two. My heart cried out for my friend Mike. This had happened to him last year in Feb. I had felt so much pain because I had seen him when he had fell. Even though he is just a friend, I would have given one of my kidneys to him so that he could still have 2. Love to me is PRICELESS. There is nothing that I would do for someone I love. Love is nothing like how the radio puts it. Love is not easy. It takes commitment,time,and care for the other person. There would be painful times where you would want to give up and just forget it. Because love takes sooooo much trust,understanding,and committment, it is truly a precious thing. It shouldn't be taken for granted because one day it could slip right out of your hands. For me, I only say that I LOVE YOU to someone only if and when I truly mean it. It takes great courage and strength to look at someone in the eyes and tell them that you love them. Love is something that people should not toy with. If things were meant to be between two people they would happen and if they werent then that means it was never meant to be. I wouldnt do anything to make someone like me as i said if it was meant to be that person will come to me. There is no limits as to the actions i would do for love because you just have to let things happen. To me love is worth so much. Having someone by myside all the time that i know loves me and cares for me is a great feeling. To me love is priceless and is something that people should take seriously. I cant really explain in words how much love is worth. Sometimes when your in love your heart will get broken and thats when it really hurts but besides all the flaws it might have love is the most beautiful thing between to people. I have very high standards when it comes to love. I will only mirror what you show me. If someone were to put me in a situation was I had to do something outrageous like lie for him I would think that would be a question of our love. Why would you want to put someone you love in harms way. I would do anything for my loved ones, because I know that they would do the same for me. My family is the most important part of my life. I think a lot of people take their families for granted. I'm happiest when I'm around my family members. Love is hard to get but easy to lose. It takes trust; and a lot of it. At the age of 15, I have a very different perception of love than an older more experienced person. Love is often displayed in songs and TV shows as everlasting and perfect. Obviously if most of my friends' parents are divorced, it's not all rainbows and butterflies. Love is definitely a powerful force. It can make some people do some really outragious things they would never think of doing. Take Abigail for example: she caused the death of many people just by pointing a finger. And she did it all because she wanted John Proctor all to herself. That didn't happen; it just caused many problems. That's why she ran away. To me love is great but its not worth someones or my life. For example love and devotion for a god will start wars amongst religions. Would i die on the cross for the people of the world? To be honest i don't i can answer these questions because i have never had feelings like that. I have to say that love is worth more than just about anything to me. love is a very special bond between two people but there are limits to every thing. i believe you will only do so much for someone youi love but for someone your in love with there are no limitions. really think about it the things you would do for someone you love and are in a relationship with would you do thing someone you just love. i also believe that love is the biggest sign of weakness because you give everything you have to that one person that you love and you only give it away once and for the fact that, that person could distroy you in a minute.
I would only goto a certain length for love. I can't say I would do anything drastic such as kill 5 people to get with the girl of my dreams, but I would most likely do anything as long as it were legal. I don't think I would goto the extent Abigail went to but I would go pretty far. If it were family and friends, I would go further because I couldn't stand to lose someone that close to me. If someone who loved me wouldn't go that far, I can't say that they loved me.

love can be a powerful thing and when you have such a strong feeling for something or someone there really is no boundries. coming from a person whos been with her boyfriend for 3 years i know i would do something drastic for my boyfriend. even if it meant stealing something for them or getting in trouble for them i'm sure i would do it. i would do it in the name of love. i know my boyfriend would gladly fight a guy even if it would make me mad or get him arrested. but thats kind of what love is about. watching out and caring for one another. i would give my life for my love. when you think about it abigal wasnt that crazy. she was just crazy in love.
WEll I think that to me there are limitations to what I would do for love. I like to let everything just play out, rather than going wild and putting more stress on myself than I need to. I would never point fingers and make lies about someone else just to try to help out my situation. I think that when someone does something like Abigal did, they aren't showing their self. Love is worth a lot to me as it is to everyone else. Everyone has something that they love, it doesnt have to be a person, it could be an animal, or something valuable to them, but everyone has something that they love. So I guess that means to me love is worth a lot because there are many things that I love, and I don't want to lose them. It is a powerful force because it drives people to do things that they normaly wouldn't do. I think that it could be both good and bad because it is good in a way because everyone needs to have something to love, but it can also be bad because there are people out there that would harm others to get what they love.
If i was in the situation Abagail was in, i most likely wouldn't have gone that extreme. He had a wife, and i think what they did was wrong. Now, if i was in Elizabeth's shoes, i probably would have done the same thing. He would have been my husband. There are limits or boundaries to the actions you would take for love, for sure. and, i think at this age you don't know what love truely is, and i know alot of people will disagree with me. Love deffinately is a strong thing. I do think Love is a powerful force, although i guess you could say i dont really know. i've never been in love. However, i do think when i do fall in love, its going to be really special and it is a sign of strength. i cant wait until im older and i get to say im in love, and have someone there for me that i know will love me forever.
Love is a very powerful word to me. Personally, i feel that if you are actually feeling love in its purest form than you will do anything or go anywhere for it. Love isn't a sign of strenght or weakness, its a sign of maturity. you can't really love someone if you are still as mature as a first grader. You need to know what you what and you need to have lived a little. A relationship between two immature people will never last. Love isn't really a thing of value, it's the person or thing that you love that is valuable. For that person I really love, I will do anything. True love has no boundaries. I don't really think love cures anything, i think it just makes you forget about it.

Well the only love I've experienced is between me and my family and with my friends. My love does have boundaries. Right now, I don't think I would sacrifice my life for any of the people I love but if I were faced with the situation I might. I wouldn't do anything against my own morals regardless of what my loved ones were doing or wanted me to do. Love is worth a lot to me. Not everything. There is so much more to life than just love. Love is very powerful. I read a book once of a holocaust survivor. She made it through everyday because of the love she had for God. Love can be a force that cures everything and provides you with the sense that everything with be okay. However, it can also be that strong force that ruins or ends your life. I do not think love is a sign of weakness. I think being loving someone makes you stronger, especially if you know they love you back. I think that being loved has way more effect on a person than loving. Knowing you are loved and cared about can help you make it through seemingly impossible situations. I know that without the love from my friends I wouldn't be as strong as I am. Love can be explained in so many different ways based on your own experiences and beliefs.
There are definately limits to as far as i would go for love. I would not kill myself or do anythign crazy jsut to get a girl to love me. Everyone need love in there life its a major role and how your life turns out. Doing anything for love is jsut rediculous, sure you have to do some things to an extent to prove you love someone but if someone does not love you for the way you are than its not really love at all
There are many kinds of love that u can have. There is the love for your family, the love for your friends, and the love you have for your girl. Love is one of the strongest emotions that you will ever feel in your life. Love can bring an overwhelming amount of happiness but it can also bring tremendous pain. I know that love is a complicated emotion and there is no real definition of love and that everyone has their own. My own definition of love is that warm and comforting feeling you get when you see the person you love. You know when you love someone when you start to love everything about the person and no matter what your feelings towards that person will never change and you will do anything to keep that person around. At least that’s the way I feel right now about this one girl who means a whole lot to me. I don’t think I can say that I truly love this person because I’m still young and this is the first time I ever felt this way about someone. But I defiantly know there’s something there and maybe the feelings I have right now could turn into real love as time goes on.

There are some limits to what I would do for love. Unlike Abigail I would not kill people or anything else bad for love. Even though this is how I feel, I think that love is the most powerful thing on Earth. Some or most people are willing to do whatever it takes for love. I think this makes love a good and bad thing. There is of course the movie version of love where one person does everything they can to get another person and it all works out, but I think love has its bad sides too like what Abigail did for love. Also love can be a strength or a weakness. It is a strength because it can will you to do anything and it is a weakness because some people are fooled into doing things that they would not normally do because of love.
Love is very a strong word and a very strong force. It seems like people are always looking for love. Anyway, i guess i have some limits to what i would do for love. I wouldn't go out and kill someone to be with a particular person,but who knows, someone else might. Love probably brings out the best in people. I would of lieed to to keep my love alive. There a lot of limits. Like murders, and rapes. Thinks that are mest up bad like those two. Love is is almost 100% of you choices and actions. I love wrestling so much that i will do any thing to make varsity. I starve my self for wrestling. I love lifting so much that i leave from having fun just to lift. Friends leave3 friends to go and see there love, but some times its for something else "HA HA". It is all of these. These are all charctoristics. Cant spell that word. People act different when there are in love.

I can name so many actions I did just in the name of LOVE. I have lied to my parents, forgot about friends, and in so many ways degraded myself. Yea that was the old me...I had to make some changes for the best. I knew i could no longer be stuck in a love state that made me a bad person. Love was the foe, and I needed a new friend. I promised myself that if I ever found LOVE again, that person will be with me for the rest of my life. They would accept my postive and negative behaviors. They would only change me for the better. I knew that is all I wanted and all that I asked for. **GOOD NEWS** I got someone who treats me like a queen, holding my hand in public, and kissing me with his little lips..lol..but lets keep that between us and the blog! Love does have limits, it sometimes may cause a person to lose who they are inside, and sometimes change their outside. I will tell it like it is...If you say you found someone who makes you happy in all aspects of life, by all means fall in love with them, because LOVE is a choice! yes i said "CHOICE". If all you want is fullfillment in the love department, someone to make you feel special DO YOU! Some songs on the radio make me feel some type of way, but not all LOVE SONGS end like real life, life is not always cookies and cream, with a cherry on top!!

In my opinion love can work in mysterious ways it can be a wonderful experience and fill a person's heart with complete joy and happiness. Love can possibly be all those great things but it can also be blinding. Most times as an outsider looking in I find relationships to be a stressful and somewhat depressing. Maybe I've been looking at the wrong relationships but the one's i have witnessed have taught me a couple life lessons, one being never let your guard down. Most girls I know, and even my parents, have given up on all their hopes and dreams over love. A close friend of mine has been with her boyfriend for over a year and I see things that she is oblivious to. For instance one night we were at a party and she and her boyfriend got into a huge fight over nothing, like always, but supposedly her boyfriend had been man handling her but because she loves him she deals with the abuse. Although that wasn't the first or last time something like that had happened between them it's like everytime we go out together they are always fighting. Now i ask myself is that what love is? Along with my girl friend my mother has had some pretty outrageous relationships herself and it took her seven years to realize that she deserved so much more then the abuse she dealt with just because she was in love. Even though my views or opinions on love might not be the occasional sappy oh my god love is the best thing to ever happen to a person, I believe that my way of thinking will, in the long run, keep me from getting my heart broken due to either mental/physical abuse from a man. Whatever it may be love is what you make of it and the phrase "i love you" shouldn't just be tossed around like nothing, hopefully when I get older I will find love and I will beable to change my views and opinions on what love really is. <3
The lengths people would go to for love are demonstrated all the time. There are many different types. The love a mother has for a child differs from the love a husband would have for a wife ,but none the less are they strong. I have never been in head over heels love so i could not tell you how far i would go for love if love is as such a beautiful thing as i imagine than i could say i would put my life on the line. But for now im going to have to leave my response at that and let you know as life continues.

I guess love is a very powerful word that should be used very serious and shouldn't be said just to a person just to say it. I mean love will ahve you do things you never would think to do until you wind up doing it and be shocked that you have just did that. I dn't think that love is the only thing that i need i mean if someone says they love me i really want them to mean it not to be just saying it to make me feel happy cause that will hurt more then anything. I think its good to know that someone loves you i mean when a person tells me that they love me i feel good inside because that makes me feel special inside cause i know someone cares for me. I really use love as a serious word because i know if i was lying to someone saying that i loved them i knew that would be wrong beause bouys did that to me and at the end of the day i was hurt and they had went on about their buisness. I guess love should be very carefully and not just a word like Hi!

to me, love is the most powerfull thing ever. i say this because people do crazy stuff when there in love like, turn on people, let people take advantge of them and other things of that sort! now dont get the wrong message, im not saying dont fall in love or nothing im just saying that you got to be care full when it comes to stuff like that.
I think my friends and family would say I'm a pretty good person. I'm hype at times but i can be kind of laid back. i like teaching people how to do things. i like kids (no homo)and showing them how to play sports and things. what they think i am is way different then what i can be because no one knows what i can be except me and god. what i am right now is way different because i need improvements to make myself better.i don't take others perceptions into consideration because i am who i am and no one can say anything to change that. well you want people to see who you really are so i just think you shouldn't change .
To me love is worth more than my words can say. Love is priceless. Love is crazy powerful. It makes you do and/or say things you may not even mean just to keep the one you love happy. I wouldn't say its the only thing you need but its one thing that makes your life complete. Love is definitely a good thing. It could be a sign of weakness like if the one you love cheats or does bad things but you can’t help but to take them back once they see that that’s a sign of weakness. It could also be a sign of strength because if your not sure if he or she loves you but you keep loving them you have to be strong to do that.
